New Grammar Checker Feature Now Available on Google Search Platform, Offering Users Suggestions and Corrections for Phrases and Sentences
Google has been actively developing an array of innovative AI features to enhance its platforms. The most recent addition to this array is an AI-powered tool for its Search Console. This tool is designed to aid users in identifying grammatical errors within their sentences directly from the Search bar.
According to Google, this new AI tool will be particularly useful for users seeking quick checks on the grammatical accuracy of phrases or sentences, as well as guidance on rectifying any issues. This tool eliminates the need for users to open external apps like Grammarly for such checks. However, Google also emphasizes caution regarding the tool’s accuracy. The company notes, ‘Important: To analyze language, the grammar check employs AI systems and may not be 100% accurate, especially with partial sentences,’ providing this notification to users.

How to Use Grammar Check on Google Search To utilize the grammar check tool in Google Search, follow these steps:
- Open Google Search.
- Type the sentence you’d like Google to grammar check.
- Add ‘grammar check’ to the end of the sentence. For example: Type “The sun is shining brightly in the blue sky. grammar check” in the search bar and press enter.
- In the search results, Google will display the output from the grammar check to verify the correctness of the sentence’s grammar. If there are no issues, the “Grammar Check” section/card, which appears as the first result, will display a green checkmark. If the sentence isn’t correct, it will provide guidance on how to rectify it, including correcting spelling mistakes.
It’s important to note that this feature is currently available only for English.
