NTA Initiates Correction Window for JEE Main 2024 – Vital Details Available for Candidates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) initiated the correction window for Session 1 of the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2024 on December 6, 2023. Applicants for JEE Main 2024 can access the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in, to rectify any errors in their applications.

The correction window is set to close on December 8, 2023. The deadline for JEE Main 2024 application submission was December 4, and the first session of JEE Main 2024 is scheduled from January 24 to February 1, 2024. The official website announces, “JEE (Main)-2024 CORRECTION WINDOW OPEN TILL 8TH DEC 2023(11:50 PM).”

HOW TO MAKE CORRECTIONS Candidates can follow these steps to amend their JEE Main applications:

  1. Visit the official JEE Main website: jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  2. Log in to your account on the homepage.
  3. Open your application and make the necessary corrections.
  4. Save the changes and submit your application.
  5. Take a printout of your application for future reference.

OFFICIAL NOTICE A notice on the website provides details about the correction window, specifying that corrections can be made until December 8 (up to 11:50 pm). After this period, no corrections will be allowed. Additionally, candidates must pay any applicable additional fees using Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

CORRECTION DETAILS According to the notice, changes cannot be made to the following fields: Mobile number, E-mail address, Address (permanent and present), emergency contact details, sessions, and the candidate’s photograph.

However, candidates are permitted to modify the following fields: Date of Birth, Gender, Category, Sub-category / PwD, and Signature. For further information, candidates should refer to the official JEE Main 2024 website.
