The deadline for JEE Main 2024 session applications has been extended to December 4, 2023, as announced on the official website. Interested applicants are encouraged to stay updated by checking for additional information and updates
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2024 session 1 until December 4, 2023. Eligible applicants who have not yet applied can submit their applications on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The examination is scheduled to take place from January 24 to February 1, with the application correction window open from December 6 to 8, 2023.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
- The admit cards for JEE Main 2024 session 1 will be available three days prior to the exam.
- The result is set to be declared on February 12, 2024.
According to the official notice by NTA, “Online submission of applications for the above-mentioned examination is in progress at https://jeemain.nta.ac.in/ from 01.11.2023 onwards. It has been decided to extend the last date for submission of the online application form for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) – 2024, enabling the aspiring candidate(s) to apply for the said exam.”

- Visit the official website, i.e., jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Select the registration link for JEE Main 2024 session 1 highlighted on the homepage.
- Fill out the registration form.
- Click on submit and cross-check all the details.
- Pay the application fees.
- Download the registration form and take a printout for further use.
JEE Main 2024 comprises two papers: paper 1 and paper 2. While JEE Main paper 2 is conducted for admission to BArch and BPlanning courses, JEE Main paper 1 serves as the gateway for entrance into BE and BTech programmes offered at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and various other institutions or universities.
