The iQOO 12 is poised for an imminent launch in India, with an advance leak of both its launch timeline and key specifications, well in advance of the scheduled iQOO event. The company had previously unveiled the iQOO 11 in January of this year and now appears to be gearing up for the release of their next-generation iQOO phone within a year.

According to tipster Mukul Sharma, the iQOO 12 is expected to debut either by the end of November or in December. The reliable source also indicates that this forthcoming iQOO flagship will be powered by Qualcomm’s yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, potentially making it the pioneering device to incorporate this advanced SoC. This early release signifies the company’s commitment to providing users with a cutting-edge flagship phone featuring the latest Snapdragon chipset prior to 2024. However, it is important to note that an official confirmation regarding the iQOO 12’s launch is still pending. Nonetheless, the leaked details provide a comprehensive preview of the expected specifications for this iQOO phone.

Rumors suggest that the iQOO 12 may sport an AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a high-refresh-rate of 144Hz. Additionally, it is anticipated to feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, ensuring reliable unlocking even with wet or moist fingers. The iQOO 12’s camera setup is likely to consist of a triple rear camera arrangement, including a 50-megapixel Omnivision OV50H sensor, a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens equipped with the ISOCELL JN1 sensor, and a 64-megapixel sensor offering 3X optical zoom as the third camera.

For 5G connectivity, the phone is expected to support 200W fast charging technology. Notably, the company is expected to continue bundling chargers with the iQOO 12, in contrast to some other manufacturers. Leaks also suggest a substantial 5000mAh battery under the hood, catering to users seeking exceptional performance.

As part of its core strategy, the iQOO 12 is anticipated to be aggressively priced, in line with the company’s tradition of offering strong performance and design at affordable rates. The preceding iQOO 11 was introduced in India with a starting price of Rs 59,999, and the next-generation iQOO 12 may maintain a similar price point, or potentially be priced slightly higher, aligning with the industry trend of gradually increasing device prices
