CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2023 Scheme Application Process Now Open on Official Website | Eligibility Criteria and Key Details
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is now accepting applications for the Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2023 Scheme. Eligible candidates can submit their applications on the official website at www.cbse.gov.in.
The application deadline for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 is October 18, 2023.
CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 Information:
Online applications are now being accepted for the following Merit Scholarship Schemes:
- CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2023 Scheme – This scheme is open for online applications. It is designed for single girl children who have successfully completed Class X in 2023 from CBSE-affiliated schools and are currently pursuing their studies in Class XI.
- CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship X 2022 (Renewal 2023) Scheme – Online applications are invited for the renewal of CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarships awarded in 2022.
Eligibility Requirements for CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child:
All single girl students who have achieved a minimum of 60 percent or higher marks in their CBSE Class X Examination and are currently enrolled in Class XI and XII at CBSE-affiliated schools with a monthly tuition fee not exceeding Rs 1,500 during the academic year will be eligible for consideration. Additionally, over the next two years, there should not be an increase of more than 10 percent in the total tuition fee charged by such schools,” as stated in the official notice.
NOTE: NRI applicants for the board are also eligible for the award.
Scholarship Funding:
Recipients of this scholarship will receive Rs 500 each. The scholarship, granted through this program, will be disbursed for a maximum duration of two years.
