The CAT 2023 Registration Deadline Now Extended to September 20, 2023: Stay Informed
The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has extended the registration deadline for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 until September 20, 2023. Candidates who missed the previous deadline now have the opportunity to apply on the official website, i.e., iimcat.ac.in, until the new cutoff date. This extension aims to alleviate registration challenges faced by applicants. It’s important to note that the exam conducting body has emphasized that there will be no further extensions to the deadline under any circumstances.
Application Fees:
Initially, candidates had until September 13 at 5 pm to submit their exam applications. The registration fee is Rs 1,200 for SC, ST, and PWD applicants, while it is Rs 2,400 for all other candidates. This non-refundable fee covers the application to multiple IIMs, and it is payable only once.

Follow these steps to complete your CAT 2023 application:
- Visit iimcat.ac.in, the official IIM CAT website.
- On the homepage, locate and click the CAT 2023 registration link.
- Complete the registration process by providing the required credentials and clicking “Submit.”
- Log in to your account and fill out the CAT 2023 application form.
- Make the necessary payment for the application fees and upload all required documents.
- Click “Submit” to finalize your application and ensure you save a copy.
- Download and print your application form for future reference.
Additional Information
The CAT 2023 admit card will be available for download starting at 5 PM on October 25. The CAT 2023 exam is slated for November 26, with the results expected to be released in the second week of January 2024.
