The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the schedule for the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) entrance test 2024. The online registration process is now open for the NIFT entrance exam, which is conducted for admission to Bachelor’s and Master’s Programmes (Regular, NLEA, Artisans), and PhD.

Prospective candidates, meeting the eligibility criteria, can register on the official website of NIFT, i.e., nift.ac.in. The NIFT 2024 entrance exam, overseen by the NTA, is scheduled for February 5, 2024. The registration period will conclude on January 3, 2024.

IMPORTANT DATES TO KEEP IN MIND

  • First date of online registration: December 5, 2023
  • Last date of online registration: January 3, 2024
  • Last date to submit the online application form with a late fee: From January 4 to January 8, 2024
  • NIFT 2024 entrance exam date: February 5, 2024

HOW TO REGISTER To register for the NIFT 2024 entrance examination, candidates can follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website, i.e., nift.ac.in.
  2. On the homepage, click the link that reads, ‘NIFT 2023 registration open’.
  3. A new page will appear on the screen.
  4. Register yourself and fill in the application.
  5. Submit the required documents and pay the application fee.
  6. Submit your application and take a printout of it for future reference.

APPLICATION FEE Category Fee payable

  • Open / Open-EWS/OBC(NCL): Rs 3000
  • SC / ST / PwD: Rs 1500
  • Open/Open-EWS/OBC (NCL) applying for two programmes i.e. B.Des and BF Tech: Rs 4500
  • SC / ST / PwD applying for two programmes i.e. B Des and B F Tech: Rs 2250

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA As per the details, for the Bachelor’s Programmes (B Des & BF Tech), the maximum age should be less than 24 years from 1st August of the year of admission. The upper age limit may be relaxed by 5 (five) years for candidates of SC/ST/PWD categories.

There is no age limit for the Master’s Programmes (M Des, M F M, and M FTech) and PhD.
