Comedians and Authors File Lawsuit Against Meta and OpenAI, Alleging Copyright Infringement
Comedian Sarah Silverman, along with authors Richard Kadrey and Christopher Golden, has filed copyright infringement lawsuits against Meta Platforms and OpenAI. The lawsuits, filed in the San Francisco federal court on Friday, claim that Meta and OpenAI utilized their copyrighted content without permission for the training of artificial intelligence language models, including chat bots, specifically referring to the unauthorized use of their material.
