NEET Super Speciality 2023 round 2 counselling reporting extended till January 5

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the reporting date for the second round of counselling for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality (NEET SS) 2023 to January 5. This information is available on the official website, mcc.nic.in. Candidates who have secured seats and need to report to their allocated institutes can find further updates and details on the official website.

The initial reporting deadline was December 31, 2024, but it has now been extended to January 5, 2024, in response to numerous requests from NEET SS 2023 candidates. According to the official notice, “MCC has received multiple requests for an extension of reporting for Round 2 of SS Counselling, and, considering the candidates’ reasons, the competent authority has granted the extension until 6 pm on January 5, 2024.”

Important Documents Required:

  1. Provisional allotment letter from MCC
  2. Admit card issued by NBE
  3. Result or rank letter from NBE
  4. MBBS degree certificate or provisional certificate
  5. MD, MS, DNB degree certificate in the relevant specialty
  6. Candidates completing post-graduation by September 30, 2023, are eligible for a provisional certificate
  7. High school certificate or a birth certificate as evidence of the date of birth
  8. A valid ID, such as a PAN card, driver’s license, voter ID, passport, or Aadhaar Card.
  9. Permanent registration certificate for MBBS, MS, or DNB issued by MCI or NBE, or state medical council.

The second round of registration took place from December 18 to December 21, 2023, with the same duration for choice filling and locking. Seat allocation occurred on December 22, and the results were disclosed on December 23, 2023.
