The Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru (IISc Bengaluru), has initiated the application modification window for candidates who registered for the upcoming Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 on November 18. Candidates have the opportunity to make changes to their applications by paying the required application fee.
As per the information provided, IISc Bengaluru will conclude the correction window for GATE 2024 on November 24, 2023. The official website states, ‘Changes/modifications in GATE 2024 application for a fee during 18th to 24th November 2023.
APPLICATION CORRECTION FEE
To modify their applications, candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 500. If a candidate wishes to change their gender in the application, an additional fee of Rs 1400 is applicable. Similarly, changing the category from SC/ST to others also incurs a fee of Rs 1400. If a candidate intends to switch their category from PwD/Dyslexia to Non-PwD/Dyslexia, a fee of Rs 1400 is applicable.
Candidates also have the option to modify details such as name, date of birth, choice of examination cities, etc.
HOW TO MAKE CHANGES
To initiate corrections to their applications, candidates can adhere to the following steps:
- Visit the official website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
- Log in to your account on the homepage.
- Click on the ‘Application Modification’ tab (once the link is active).
- Make the necessary corrections and proceed to pay the fee.
- Submit your application after making the modifications.
- Take a printout of the revised application for future reference.
GATE 2024 EXAMINATION
