CLAT UG Eligibility Requirements
In order to be eligible, candidates belonging to the General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categories must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in their 10+2 exams or an equivalent qualification. SC/ST category candidates need to have obtained a minimum of 40% marks. Additionally, candidates who will be taking their qualifying exam in March/April 2024 are also eligible to apply for CLAT 2024.
ELIGIBILITY FOR PG
In order to meet the eligibility criteria for CLAT 2024, candidates in the general/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories must hold a minimum of 50 percent marks in their LLB degree or an equivalent qualification. SC/ST category candidates, on the other hand, should have at least 45 percent marks. Candidates planning to take their qualifying exam in April/May 2024 are also eligible to apply for CLAT 2024. It’s important to note that there is no upper age limit for candidates appearing in the CLAT 2024 examination.

APPLICATION FEE
Kindly note that the application fees for CLAT 2024 should be paid online, and this is a mandatory requirement for all applicants. For candidates belonging to the General/OBC/PWD/NRI categories, the application fee is fixed at Rs.4,000, whereas those in the SC/ST/BPL category are expected to remit Rs.3,500 as their application fee.
Please be aware that the cost of acquiring previous years’ question papers is Rs.500, and this amount is separate from the CLAT 2024 application fee, which is either Rs.4,000 or Rs.3,500, depending on your category. Additionally, candidates are responsible for covering any bank transaction charges associated with the online fee payment process.
