Samsung Launches New Digital Service Center: Empowering Consumers with Personalized Support, Faster Service Access, and DIY Videos

Samsung, India’s leading consumer electronics brand, has introduced its Digital Service Center, a comprehensive platform designed to offer customers a personalized and convenient customer service experience for their products.

The Digital Service Center offers tailored support based on individual consumer needs, accessible through their Samsung account. This includes an intuitive user interface, easy navigation, categorized self-help content, specific do-it-yourself (DIY) videos, mobile app functionality, and a consolidated page featuring model-specific repair and spare part prices.

Through the DIY videos, customers can find solutions to various product-related issues, such as using screen mirroring on their TV, connecting a Sound bar to the TV, installing a Samsung semi-automatic washing machine, setting up the Freestyle projector, or utilizing the auto restart feature on Samsung Galaxy smartphones.

Consumers can also utilize the Digital Service Center to book appointments for priority service at service centers, avail pick-up and drop-off services, locate nearby service centers, access warranty policies, track repairs, obtain service cost information, schedule callback requests through remote and visual support, and receive software updates.

“At Samsung, we have always been committed to meeting the evolving needs of our customers. The Digital Service Center is a significant step towards simplifying post-purchase services and delivering personalized support to our valued consumers. We recognize that providing easy access to a digitalized ecosystem is crucial to empower our customers,” stated a spokesperson from Samsung. The platform boasts easy navigation for consumers and also provides them access to product specific DIY videos, helping them resolve their queries with ease,” said Mr. Sunil Cutinha, Vice President of Customer Service at Samsung India, highlighted the additional digital service options available through the Digital Service Center. These options allow customers to address their concerns conveniently from the comfort of their homes. Customers can choose to utilize WhatsApp Support, Remote Support, receive technical assistance via the call center, or access do-it-yourself videos on the Samsung website and YouTube.

In addition, Samsung offers the ‘Smart Touch Call’ service, which aims to minimize wait times for customers contacting Samsung’s Customer Care for assistance. This service provides customers with the option to engage with a synchronized voice and screen interface, enhancing their service experience compared to the traditional call center interaction. Smart Touch Call captures the caller’s requirements and enables seamless interaction with the system.
