New Delhi: National School of Drama, an autonomous institution of the Central Ministry of Culture, invites applications for admission to the three-year full-time residential Diploma Program in Dramatics for the year 2023-2026.
The institute aims to train professionals in acting, design, direction and other fields related to theatre. The first three semesters of the six-semester course of 20 weeks are integrated studies. Specialization should be added in the next three semesters.
ELIGIBILITY
- A recognized degree in the subject.
- Must have participated in at least six different theater productions.
- Good command of Hindi/English language is required.
- Age should be between 18 to 30 years as on 1.7.2022.
ADMISSION PROCESS
There will be two phases to the election. The first phase of the examination will be held in July at 15 centers including Bengaluru and Chennai. Its study materials and guidelines should be available on the website in the months of June and July.
Those selected in this will have a workshop in the second stage. It should be held in New Delhi from August 16 to 20. Application along with related documents can be given till July 10 through the link
