
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has begun the online application process for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 on its official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates can apply for the exam until March 15. Meanwhile, the Authority has revised the examination schedule, announcing that the KCET 2026 engineering and pharmacy exams will now be conducted on May 25 and 26, instead of the previously announced dates of April 23 and 24.
Meanwhile, the language paper originally scheduled for April 22 has not yet been assigned a revised date. The admit cards will be issued on May 1, and the KCET 2026 results are expected to be announced on June 30. The examinations will be held in two sessions each day: the morning session from 10:30 am to 11:50 am and the afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm.
KCET 2026: Application Fee and Required Documents
Candidates planning to apply for KCET 2026 should keep the necessary documents ready before starting the registration process. These include the SSLC or Class 10 mark sheet, Aadhaar card, a valid mobile number linked to WhatsApp, and an active email ID. Applicants will also need to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
The application fee for KCET 2026 is ₹500 for candidates from the general category and ₹250 for SC and ST candidates. Applicants from outside Karnataka are required to pay ₹750, while candidates applying from abroad must pay ₹5,000. The KCET is conducted for admission to various professional courses such as engineering, agriculture, veterinary science, pharmacy, and BSc Nursing.
Along with the KCET 2026 schedule, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has also announced dates for other entrance tests. The Karnataka DCET will be held on May 23, while the PGCET examinations are scheduled for May 14 and May 23. Exams for MSc Nursing, MPT, and MSc AHS will take place on July 18. The KSET is set for October 11, and the MPharm and PharmD entrance exams will be conducted on November 21.
