UGC Launches Inclusive Research Internship Program for Fourth-Year Undergraduates, Featuring Stipends, Insurance, and Academic Credits to Foster Collaboration Between Academia and Industry, in Alignment with the National Education Policy 2020
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has introduced a transformative research internship initiative aimed at fourth-year undergraduate students. This program, crafted to deliver a comprehensive learning experience, incorporates stipends, insurance coverage, and academic credits, representing a significant stride towards enriching practical exposure and employability.
Under the newly outlined guidelines, students engaging in internships with participating companies are now eligible for fixed stipends, insurance coverage, and academic credits.
