Unveiling of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s Wax Statue at Jaipur Wax Museum, Nahargarh Fort on December 6

Paying homage to the principal architect of the Indian Constitution, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Jaipur Wax Museum unveiled a wax statue at Nahargarh Fort on December 6. Anoop Srivastava, the Founder Director, explained that the decision was prompted by tourist demand, reflecting the enduring popularity of Baba Saheb. Inaugurated on Mahaparinirvan Day, the statue symbolically stands alongside the likeness of Dr. Abdul Kalam in Rashtrapati Bhavan, emphasizing their significant contributions to the nation. Crafted with precision, the 5 feet 11 inches tall wax statue faithfully replicates Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, aiming to inspire future generations. The Jaipur Wax Museum, uniquely located in the Nahargarh Fort heritage site, now houses 43 wax figures, solidifying its status as a distinctive cultural institution. Established in collaboration with the Department of Archaeology and Museums of the Government of Rajasthan in 2016, the museum continues to garner acclaim for its remarkable setting and diverse collection.
