Elon Musk Offers Potential Job Opportunity: X is Recruiting Talent to Contribute to Grok AI Chatbot Development

X, formerly known as Twitter, has recently unveiled its forthcoming AI chatbot, GrokAI. Elon Musk has disclosed ongoing hiring opportunities within the company and invited potential candidates to become part of the team

Since the introduction of ChatGPT by OpenAI last year, its impact on the job market has been a subject of extensive discussion. While some feared that AI might lead to job loss, others were optimistic, believing it could make tasks more manageable by handling some workload. Another group anticipated that AI would generate new job opportunities, and it seems their prediction was accurate. If you’re seeking a job in the AI sector, Elon Musk may have an opportunity for you. Grok AI, Musk’s upcoming chatbot, is actively recruiting for various positions, and Elon Musk himself took to social media to encourage users to apply.

Grok AI, Hiring in AI Space: Guodong Zhang, an xAI employee who also previously worked at Google’s DeepMind, announced on X that Grok AI is actively hiring and emphasized the team’s exceptional researchers and engineers.

“It’s been a blast working with the team, some of the best researchers and engineers in the world! Soooo proud of what we’ve done so far, and look forward to more future releases. We’re hiring. Join us,” his post read. Musk re-shared the post with the comment, “Join Us.”

Elon Musk’s xAI announced its upcoming AI assistant, Grok AI, which is described as having the ability to answer questions with “wit and also has a rebellious streak.” The team emphasized that users lacking a sense of humor should refrain from using the AI service.

Grok, modeled after the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, is designed to answer a wide range of questions and provide suggestions for inquiries. The AI exhibits a humorous and rebellious nature. It will have real-time knowledge of the world, likely derived from users’ publicly available Twitter posts.

Additionally, Grok is positioned to answer unconventional or “spicy” questions rejected by many other AI systems. While still in the beta stage with just two months of training, the xAI team expects rapid improvement with user feedback.

While the exact release timeline remains undisclosed, Musk mentioned that Grok AI will be available exclusively for X Premium subscribers, indicating it won’t be offered as a free service like other AI bots.
