The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), responsible for conducting the lateral entry admissions for Classes 9 and 11 in the 2024-25 academic year, will conclude the application process on October 31, 2023, through its official website. Prospective candidates can conveniently submit their applications for lateral entry to JNV Class 9 and 11 online by visiting navodaya.gov.in.
Academic Qualifications
For admission to Class 11 at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), candidates should have completed their Class 10 examination from a school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), state boards, or other recognized boards during the 2023-24 academic session. As for Class 9 admission, eligibility is limited to students who are genuine residents and are currently studying in Class 8 at a Government or Government-recognized school located within the district where a JNV is operational.
Registration Process
Here are the steps to complete your registration for NVS Class IX or XI Admission 2024:
- Go to the official NVS website at navodaya.gov.in.
- Find and click on the ‘JNV Class IX or XI Admission 2024’ link available on the homepage.
- Choose the ‘Registration’ option.
- Create a new login or use your existing credentials.
- Log in and complete the required details in the online application form.
- Make the payment of the application fee and then submit the online application form.
- Download a copy of your NVS application form for your records.
