The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is scheduled to hold the IBPS PO Mains 2023 examination on November 5th. For candidates who originally chose Manipur as their exam center, there is now a window of opportunity to modify their center selection, and this option will be available until November 1st.

Official Notification for IBPS PO Mains 2023

Following a thorough evaluation of the situation in the state of Manipur, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has made the decision to provide candidates who had originally chosen Imphal (Manipur) as their center for the Online Main Examination for the recruitment of Probationary Officers/Management Trainees under CRP PO/MT-XIII with the option of ‘Center Change.’ This information was communicated through an official notice issued by IBPS.

Candidates who are eligible and wish to change their exam center can now select from the alternative centers listed, which include Guwahati, Shillong, Aizawl, Kohima, Faridabad, Gurugram, or Kolkata, as specified in the notice.

Pattern of IBPS PO Mains 2023 Examination

The IBPS Probationary Officer Mains Exam: Combining Objectives and Descriptives

In the IBPS PO Mains, there is a dual question format, comprising objective and descriptive sections. The objective-type questions hold a total weightage of 200 marks, while the descriptive questions contribute 25 marks to the examination. It’s important to note that each incorrect answer in the IBPS PO Mains results in a deduction of 0.25 marks. The duration of the examination is three and a half hours, with the total marks available for this exam being 225.
