Pichai Shared a Link to a Pledge Posted by the ADL, an ‘Anti-Hate Organization’ with a Mission to Halt Defamation of the Jewish People and Ensure Justice and Fair Treatment for All

During the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, Google CEO Sundar Pichai issued a statement addressing the concerning rise of antisemitism in the workplace. He not only signed a pledge committing to raise awareness but also took a firm stand against this “historic evil.” Pichai shared a link to a pledge from the ADL, an “anti-hate organization” with the mission to combat defamation of the Jewish people and advocate for justice and fair treatment for all.

Furthermore, Sundar Pichai expressed his concern about the attacks on Israel by the militant group Hamas, emphasizing Google’s support for its approximately 2,000 employees in Israel, who are based across two offices. The company is actively working to connect with its employees and provide assistance during these trying times.

Several other IT industry leaders have also voiced their concerns about the attacks carried out by Hamas, resulting in the loss of Israeli civilian lives. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella mentioned the company’s efforts to assist its approximately 3,000 employees in Israel.

Elon Musk has been notably vocal about the surprise attacks in Israel and even criticized Iranian leader Ali Khamenei for defending Hamas’s terrorist group’s actions against Israel. Musk has been calling for both sides to exercise restraint and prevent further violence.
