Nyoma is a distinguished village nestled in the southern expanse of Ladakh, India, boasting the presence of an Indian Air Force Base nestled within the Leh district. Starting at approximately ₹3,000 crore in 2008, it surged to ₹5,000-6,000 crore by 2017, further escalating to ₹8,000 crore in 2019, and continuing to increase. Notably, in the most recent year, an impressive ₹12,340 crore was expended, exemplifying the government’s unwavering commitment to strengthening India’s border area infrastructure.
