The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, is the organizing institute for GATE 2024. The official GATE notification, along with the exam date, will be released in the last week of July. Candidates who complete the GATE application form will be eligible to appear for any of the 29 papers conducted in the exam. The GATE exam is held annually by the 7 IITs and IISc on a rotational basis. It provides candidates with opportunities for higher education and job placements in Indian PSUs. Each year, numerous candidates fill out the GATE application form for the 29 papers offered.

The application process for GATE 2024 is online-only, and it is crucial for candidates to fill out the form accurately, upload documents correctly, and pay the application fee. Candidates must ensure they pay the appropriate application fee according to their category. The eligibility criteria for the GATE exam state that candidates in their 3rd year or higher years of undergraduate degree programs in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Science/Commerce/Arts are eligible to appear. Candidates from foreign countries who have obtained/pursued their qualifying degrees should be in their 3rd year or higher years or have completed a minimum 3-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Science/Arts/Commerce. Following the release of the GATE answer key, the authorities will announce the GATE result, displaying the All India rank, score, and other details. The GATE scorecard remains valid for a period of 3 years from the date of issue.
