The GATE 2026 admit card has been released on the official website, gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Candidates appearing for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering can now download their hall ticket by logging in to GOAPS using their enrollment ID and password.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, the organising institute for GATE 2026, will conduct the examination on February 7, 8, 14, and 15. The exam will be held in two shifts each day — the forenoon session from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

Registered candidates can access the GATE 2026 admit card download link through the GOAPS portal. The admit card contains important details such as the paper code, exam centre address, candidate’s name, photograph, signature, enrollment ID, barcode, and exam-day instructions. Candidates are advised to check all details carefully after downloading the hall ticket.
Upcoming Government Engineering Entrance Exams 2026
Engineering is the most coveted and highly opted out field in India. As per various media reports, millions of students apply for engineering exams in India, to be precise over 15 lakh students appear for JEE. However, the numbers can shoot up to around 39-40 lakh UG enrollments in recent years if other government exams are to be considered. The engineering exam cycle is expected to start soon, with the dates of popular entrance exams such as the JEE main, GUJCET, MHT CET already out.
KCET 2026, Application Form, Exam Date, Registration, Exam Pattern
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has officially announced the schedule for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026. The notification was released on January 2, 2026. As per the announcement, the entrance examination will be conducted on April 23 and April 24, 2026, in two sessions each day.
The KCET 2026 application process for admission to undergraduate professional courses will begin on January 17, 2026. Candidates seeking admission to Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and Veterinary courses can submit their applications through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
To apply for KCET 2026, applicants must complete the online registration process, which includes entering personal and academic details, uploading the required documents, and paying the application fee. The application fee is ₹500 for candidates from Karnataka and ₹750 for candidates from outside the state. Eligible candidates can apply from January 17, 2026, and the last date for submission will be announced by KEA soon.
The KCET 2026 registration link will be activated on the official website. Candidates must first register to receive their login credentials, including a login ID and password. These details will be required to access and complete the application form.
According to the official exam timetable, KCET 2026 will be held in offline mode. The Kannada language test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates is scheduled for April 22, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
The subject-wise exam schedule is as follows: Physics will be conducted in the morning session and Chemistry in the afternoon session on April 23, 2026. On April 24, 2026, Biology will be held in the first session and Mathematics in the second session. The morning session will take place from 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM, while the afternoon session will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 3:50 PM.
