The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has officially commenced the online registration.

Mumbai:  The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has officially commenced the online registration process for MH CET 2026 for nursing-related undergraduate and diploma programmes. Candidates aspiring to pursue BSc Nursing,General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing (DPN), and Public Health Nursing (PHN) can now submit their application forms through the official website cetcell.mahacet.org.As per the notification released by the CET Cell, the last date to apply for MH CET 2026 is February 24, 2026. The application fee payment window will also close on the same day.
                        Eligible candidates are advised to complete the registration process well in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues.
MH CET 2026. Courses Offered The MH CET 2026 is being conducted for admission to the following nursing programmes across government, government-aided, and private colleges in Maharashtra:
Bachelor of Science (BSc) Nursing
General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)
Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing (DPN)
Public Health Nursing (PHN)
                       These courses offer strong career prospects in hospitals, community health centres,government health departments, and private healthcare institutions across India and abroad.MH CET 2026 Exam Dates Announced Along with the registration announcement, the State CET Cell has also released the exam schedule for MH Nursing CET 2026. According to the official timetable: DPN and PHN CET 2026 will be conducted on May 5, 2026.BSc Nursing and GNM CET 2026 will be held on May 6 and May 7, 2026.The entrance examinations will be conducted at designated exam centres located in four major districts of Maharashtra — Mumbai, Pune, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), and Nagpur.Candidates will be able to check their allotted exam centre, date, and shift details through the admit card, which will be released closer to the examination dates.

                                                                                  MH CET 2026 Application Fee Details

Applicants are required to pay the application fee online while submitting the MH CET 2026 form. The category-wise fee structure is as follows:
Rs 1,000 for candidates belonging to the General and EWS categories, both from Maharashtra and outside the state Rs 800 for candidates from Backward Classes, Orphan category, and Other Gender The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid within the stipulated deadline.

                                                                                           MH Nursing CET 2026 Exam Pattern

The CET Cell has also released the detailed exam pattern for MH CET 2026. The question paper for BSc Nursing and GNM CET will consist of five sections:
Physics
Chemistry
Biology
English
Nursing Aptitude
For DPN and PHN CET 2026, the examination will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions
(MCQs).
Total questions: 100
exam duration: 90 minutes
Marks per question: 1
Negative marking: No negative marking
                             The exam will be conducted in an online (computer-based) mode, and questions will be objective in nature. APAAR ID Mandatory for MH CET 2026 RegistrationThe CET Cell has made it mandatory for candidates to generate an APAAR ID to complete the registration process.
                            According to the official notice, “Candidates who do not have an APAAR ID must generate it using DigiLocker. APAAR ID is required to complete the MH CET registration.”Candidates are advised to generate their APAAR ID well in advance through DigiLocker to avoid delays during the application process.Important Instructions for Applicants Before filling out the MH CET 2026 application form, candidates must ensure that the following personal and academic details are accurate and updated:
Aadhaar card details
Name and date of birth as mentioned in the Class 10 certificate
Recent passport-size photograph
Father’s name
Complete address and active mobile number
Any discrepancy in the provided information may lead to rejection of the application or issues during the admission process.

Click on the MH CET 2026 nursing registration link
Register using a valid mobile number and email ID
Fill in the application form with required personal and academic details
Upload necessary documents and photograph
Pay the application fee online
Submit the form and download the confirmation page
