COMEDK UGET 2026 Exam Date and Mode

The COMEDK UGET 2026 examination will be conducted on May 9, 2026, in computer-based test (CBT) mode.

The test will be held at various examination centres across India. COMEDK typically allocates centres based on candidate preferences and availability, with an effort to assign a location closer to the candidate’s residence to minimize travel inconvenience.

Candidates will be able to select preferred exam cities while filling out the application form.

Exam Pattern and Structure

Based on trends from previous years, the COMEDK UGET examination is expected to follow a similar format in 2026.

Duration

The examination is likely to be conducted for a duration of three hours.

Number of Questions

The question paper is expected to contain 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

Marking Scheme

  • Each question carries one mark.
  • There is typically no negative marking, making it advantageous for candidates to attempt all questions.

Subjects Covered

The examination will consist of three sections:

  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Chemistry

Each subject is expected to contain 60 questions, though candidates should refer to the official information brochure for confirmation.

The exam pattern may vary slightly depending on the course applied for. However, for engineering aspirants, the above structure is generally applicable.

Syllabus and Preparation Strategy

The syllabus for COMEDK UGET is based primarily on the Class 11 and Class 12 curriculum prescribed by recognized boards. Candidates are advised to focus on core concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Preparation tips include:

  • Reviewing NCERT textbooks thoroughly
  • Solving previous years’ question papers
  • Practicing mock tests in CBT format
  • Strengthening time management skills
  • Revising formulas and key concepts regularly

Since the examination is conducted online, candidates should familiarize themselves with the computer-based test interface to improve confidence and efficiency on exam day.

Counselling and Admission Process

After the declaration of results, COMEDK will conduct centralized counselling for seat allotment. Candidates will be required to register separately for counselling and fill in their preferred colleges and courses.

Seat allotment will be based on:

  • COMEDK UGET rank
